<strong>If you don't have an electrically powered VELUX INTEGRA® roof window, but would like an electric powered blind, try the control system KUX 100</strong>. This will allow you to use the electrically powered VELUX blinds or shutters in manually operated roof windows. Or try the control system KMX 100 and turn your entire manually operated roof window into an automated one. The control system KMX 100 will allow you to operate multiple electrical products.</p>

<h2>ARF: blackout blind for Fakro roof windows</h2>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The <strong>Fakro ARF</strong> blackout blind is a stylish, decorative blind with runners at the sides to allow the blind to be positioned anywhere up the window. It also prevents daylight entering at the sides, thus providing a complete blackout. The aluminium runners which cover the fabric edge, the special seal in the lower aluminium slat and the material covering the outer face of the fabric (reflecting the sun’s rays) block out incoming light completely, reduce incoming heat in summer and prevent heat loss in winter. The fabric also protects against harmful UV radiation.</p>
<h2>Z-Wave: wireless control system</h2>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Fakro has equipped its products with a radio communication system named <strong>Z-Wave</strong>. This is a wireless protocol used for communication between household appliances which allows you to create a single network by combining a range of electrical devices such as: lighting, thermostats, alarms, computers, telephones, air conditioning and electric windows and blinds. Currently, there are over 200 manufacturers of electric household devices associated in the Z-Wave system (amongst others: Intel, Panasonic, Apple, General Electric).</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The ZWS12 and ZW230 chain motors thanks to their small dimensions and suitable force output are ideal for roof window operating, being fully compatible with the Z-Wave system. The motors can be applied in both the centre pivot and top hung and pivot roof windows as well as windows of non-standard dimensions. The maximum chain reach is 24cm for ZWS12 and 36cm for ZW230. The motors are equipped with built-in overload protection which acts as a sensor of correct window closing.</p>

Thanks to the application of the restrictor, it is possible to leave the window ajar tilted by approximately 10cm (depending on a window type and size) without fear that strong wind will change the sash position. In low installed windows, the ZBB restrictor protects against unwelcome full opening of the window sash by children. When the window is closed, the restrictor cannot be seen and does not hinder window operation.</p>

<h2>AMZ: awning blind for Fakro centre-pivot and top-hung-and-pivot roof windows</h2>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The awning blind provides optimum protection from overheating while, at the same time providing a view to the outside. Fakro awning blind reflects sun rays before they reach the glass and thus protects against heat build-up on sunny days, providing relief for the eyes and protection from the harmful effects of strong reflected light, which is especially important when working with computers.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The awning blind<strong> AMZ</strong> is made of durable, weather- resistant fibre glass fabric. This enables easy control of the blind and makes it possible to use a wider fabric, thus providing additional protection against ingress of light. To control the blind an 80cm long rod is supplied in package. There is also available a rod ZSZ which is 150 cm long.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The <strong>EDG </strong>flashing is specially designed for the installation for low-pitched roofs 10°-20°. The flashing provide tight and simple incorporating windows in the roof slope. The design of flashing provides a safe drainage of rainwater and snow outside the window, while maintaining the instruction set mounting distance between the window and roofing.</p>

<p>The insulation frame is used for professional thermal insulation between the window and the roof. This helps to avoid harmful thermal bridges. Also, this additional insulation helps to reduce the precipitation of condensation. The mounting brackets of the insulation frame and the skylight are matched to each other in such a way that both elements are joined together to form a stable unit with a perfect fit and in a durable manner. In addition, this guarantees simple and quick installation. The insulation frame is made of foamed polyethylene with thermal conductivity group 040.</p>
