OSB stands for "Oriented Strand Board," meaning the panel is manufactured from coarse wood strands, often recycled from industrial or waste wood. These strands are arranged in multiple layers with alternating orientations, mixed with binding agents, and pressed under high pressure and temperature. This process creates extremely dimensionally stable boards that are considered water-resistant.

OSB/3 Class for Demanding Projects:

There are four distinct classes based on mechanical properties and relative moisture resistance. We offer OSB/3 boards, which are suitable for load-bearing purposes and can be used in damp areas.

Versatile Applications:

• • Construction & Interiors: Ideal for wall or roof sheathing in both shell and interior construction.
• • Flooring: Used as subfloor panels. For these applications, the tongue and groove design is recommended to ensure the panels do not slip after installation.
• • Specialized Uses: Frequently used in furniture construction, packaging, or as formwork for concrete.
• • Available Sizes: Depending on your intended use, you can choose between thicknesses ranging from 9 mm to 25 mm.
