Metal profiles are an integral part of drywall construction, forming the so-called stud framework. These systems allow for the quick and efficient creation of structural foundations for ceilings and walls.

Ceiling and Wall Systems:

• • Ceiling Profiles (CD & UD): With the help of CD and UD profiles (where "D" stands for "Decke" or ceiling), you can install suspended ceilings to reduce room height or add an insulation layer between floors.
• • Wall Profiles (CW & UW): CW and UW profiles ("W" for "Wand" or wall) enable the fast installation of partition walls to divide large spaces effectively.

Understanding the Framework:

The structural roles of these profiles are clearly defined to ensure stability:

• • U-Profiles: These act as the "framing" profiles, mounted around the perimeter of the existing masonry.
• • C-Profiles: These serve as the load-bearing vertical or horizontal studs that the gypsum boards are directly attached to.
• • UA-Profiles: Specifically designed for door openings, these reinforced profiles feature a material thickness of 2 mm to provide the necessary stability for door frames.
