VELUX flashings fit all types of roofing materials and provide tight and simple incorporating windows in the roof slope. The design of flashings provides a safe drainage of rainwater and snow outside the window, while maintaining the instruction set mounting distance between the window and roofing.
The VELUX EDJ flashing for recessed installation and for profiled roofing material up to 90mm. Recessed installations offer a more sleek, streamlined appearance, sitting 40mm deeper in the roof structure. Recessed installations also offer greater energy efficiency, and when installed with the appropriate VELUX insulation collar actually offer a lower certified u-value, saving energy and providing architects with greater design flexibility.
Flashing and windows' profile are made as standard of requiring no maintenance aluminum sheet in Grey (RAL 7043).
